Policy Statement

Protonautics Pty Ltd is a manufacturer of CNC machined components, chemical surface treatments and assembly services. Design or Engineering is excluded from our scope of work as Protonautics is a build to print manufacturer and our customers are the design authority. The Protonautics Pty Ltd Business Management System (BMS) documents the company’s best business practices, which aim to satisfy customer expectations while also meeting all statutory and regulatory requirements and improving the overall management of the Company. The Protonautics Pty Ltd BMS meets the requirements of the international standards AS9100:D (Quality), ISO 14001:2015 (Environment) and AS/NZS 4801:2001 (Occupational Health and Safety). This system addresses the production of the Company’s provision of services.

Business Objectives

As a primary obligation, Protonautics Pty Ltd is committed to meeting the needs and expectations of our customers by the capable implementation of a thorough, innovative and accredited BMS by:

  • Working closely with its customers and suppliers in pursuit of quality, value and reliability in the products and services that the Company supplies through continual improvement.
  • Responding promptly and accurately to customer inquiries and orders and strive to meet and where possible exceed the customer’s expectations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of consultants, subcontractors and suppliers and implement effective communication with them on quality and compliance issues.
  • Total compliance with statutory obligations, standards, specifications and codes of practice relevant to quality management, environmental management and occupational health and safety management.
  • Engage in planning activities to support robust business decisions with intention of a positive impact on quality.
  • Continuous improvement of the BMS consistent with certification requirements of Standards through periodic maintenance, monitoring, reviewing and auditing of the system.
  • Identification, reporting, investigation and resolution of all non-conformances within a reasonable timeframe and acting to prevent their recurrence.
  • Provision of sufficient, qualified, skilled, experienced and suitable resources to implement and maintain the BMS.
  • Creation of a “Learning Environment” in order to continually improve the skills of our people and their awareness and knowledge of quality issues and practices.
  • Ensuring that its management and staff are fully trained to meet the requirements of the business and its customers.
  • Protonautics is in the process of obtaining AS9100 certification
