Assembly & Test

Protonautics provides AS9100 standard assembly and test services. We assemble your machined parts into higher assemblies and perform mechanical and electrical tests as per your requirements: pressure tests, leak tests, torque tests and more.

The Assembly and Test Area at Protonautics is designed to comply with our FOD (Foreign Object Damage) Control Program to ensure risks of each assembly, process and personnel have been assessed and managed. Regular checks and training maintains consistency in operations and ensures policies are adhered to.

We plan and source the materials required and provide you with certificates of conformance and traceability throughout the chain.

A part of many assembly and testing processes require jig and test fixtures. These can be designed and developed to suit your recording, volume and price requirements.

Our testing services also includes CMM (coordinate measuring machine) verification reporting. First article inspections verify that the machined component is within the tolerances specified by your drawing or model by measuring the geometry of the part. Our CMM is situated in a controlled environment and is able to achieve an accuracy of 6μm, therefore ensuring the accuracy and precision of test results.

Protonautics has vast experience completing assemblies and tests with various specicifications:

  • Heat exchangers used in electric vehicle chargers – assembled and tests performed (torque, leak and pressure)
  • Helicoil fitment insertion and similar mounting and assembly hardware

Be assured of the quality of your subsystems by having your assembly and testing completed with Protonautics. Contact us with your queries or get a quote.
